Used this company recently to ship my truck across the country. Was paranoid of so many things happening. This company made the job effortless, and painless. Was given an exact quote, was promised no surprises, and the vehicle was delivered in excellent condition and on time. COmmunication was excellent and will use again in the future for sure.

I never had to have a vehicle shipped, but recently experienced a family health emergency and needed to get a vehicle back to NJ. Instead of taking advantage by charging me a lot of money, Danny was extremely sympathetic to my situation and gave me an excellent price for truck to be shippend from Florida to NJ. The vehicle was delivered as promised and there wasn't a scratch on it. If ever I need this type of service again, I no longer have to look any further to find a company because I will return back here.

Great experience with Ship-A-Car! Bob Moran and the Ship-A-Car team made the whole process of shipping our new vehicle smooth. Bob Moran was AMAZING! I was in such a bind and had just found out some bad news about my dad’s health. Bob was very understanding and turned my situation into a positive one. He was very quick at responding back to me and very knowledgeable. It put my mind at ease and all I had to do was sit back and wait for my car to come. It took little time to travel from WA to VA and the driver was very nice as well. Bob called to check up on how the delivery went and that in itself was really nice! We strongly recommend contacting a shipping company directly. For the $225 fee we had little or no communication from pick-up (we were able to find the name/number of the driver we were told was going to pick up our bike -- but he was unaware he was supposed to pick it up and wouldn't have on the scheduled day had we not contacted him) until delivery unless we initiated and tracked down individuals, most of who were drivers and unable to assist us as to located the bike and determining a deliver date. The estimated delivery date was off by a full week and attempts to find a more accurate delivery date was unsuccessful (though we did manage to contact a driver that left the bike in Oklahoma City -- though courtesous and wanting to be helpful, couldn't help us). We received less than 24 hours notice of delivery. Finally, even the payment instructions were in error so that when the bike was finally delivered, the form of payment (a cashier's check as we were instructed to prepare) was not correct. We ended up paying by credit card, not a problem, but seems like a simple detail that a brokerage company should be aware of. Instead, we wasted time one evening to go to our bank to secure an unnecessary cashier's check. My advice? Bypass this broker company and contact shipper directly. We gained no advantage or service worth the $225 on top of the $525 to ship the bike. We could have saved $225 OR spent the combined $750 on renting a truck, fuel and one night hotel to transport it ourselves with more predictability.

I had a Mercedez E550 convertable that had to be transported (shipped) from California across country to Florida. Their quote was more expensive that the instant quotes the you get bombarded with, but they lay everything out for you over the phone and in contract. My car was very well taken care of. He's helped my company ship our company vehicles to all 4 corners of this country numerous times, and he is always a pleasure to work with. I'd previously used another transport broker to get our vehicles out, but that company ended up being a scam, and our cars were held hostage and drivers never got paid. Bob and Ship A Car are the epitome of professionalism and service in an environment where there can often be hesitancy and mistrust. Similarly, even the driver's I've accepted cars from speak highly of Ship A Car, and they are a preferred broker for transporters. Ship A Car doesn't rip off the drivers, which in turn makes the drivers want to quickly accept any pickups Ship A Car has in the database. It's a win-win-win for all parties involved.

I must apologize for not writing sooner, but our move has extremely long and our household just arrived (computers as well).  I can’t say enough good things about the excellent service we received! He took his time (being a true professional) to make sure that both cars were hooked up nice and tight to ensure no damage would come to them. He did not complain about having to wait 3 hours, while our plane landed and we made our way over to meet him. The cars were in the same condition as when they left. The Ship A Car rep told me everything that I needed to know. Everything went as well as it could have. However, in-between times, I didn't get any updates. But as far as the information he gave me and what was done, it was spot on. The pickup was in Columbus, Ohio and the drop-off was in Frisco, Texas. The car got there a day earlier than expected, so that was a plus. I was happy about that. The driver was also great. He called and said he was about 40 minutes out. He dropped it off, signed the paperwork and received the money. I will recommend Ship A Car to anybody going that route.

I called Bob from this company last minute to get my car shipped out two days later and he literally had someone for me 30 minutes later To pick it up the day I requested and worked hard and kept in contact with me the whole time! This was my first time to use Ship A Car Inc. I asked them to transport a 30,000 pound telehandler, or boom lift, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Gulfport, Mississippi. I was surprised that they were able to get the equipment out of Iowa ahead of the bad weather, but they did. Very prompt service. The driver was an extremely conscientious individual who saw that there was a hatch problem on the equipment which needed attention before hitting the road. He took of that for me. The load was professionally secured, and made it down here in perfect shape! I am very impressed with Ship A Car Inc., and highly recommend them to anyone needing vehicles or equipment transported over a long distance! I mean these guys went above and beyond from my first phone call to final delivery!

This company is outstanding..VERY honest and straightforward ...at FIRST glance they seem high in price ... but they are not ...they know the market. I dealt with 2 other companies. they quoted much less but could not deliver. Stars and stripes was one of them. could not move my VEHICLE for 12 days This company found me a driver in 1 day ..he delivered 1 day EARLY ..janet ..explained in detail how shipping a vehicle works ..she walked her talk and followed up....very pleased with entire process ..will definitely use again..

Ship a Car Inc. arranged transportation for 3 of our company vehicles to move across the country. They met our requirements and provided an auto hauler in a very timely manner at a competitive rate. The entire process went smooth and trumped many other auto transport companies I've used in the past.

I was searching for an Auto Transport company to ship my son's car from Lake Forest, IL to San Diego, CA. He is a Marine and stationed there. From start to finish Ship A Car worked with me to quote a very competitive price. They were very patient as I changed the drop off date a few times because it is very difficult to predict my son's schedule. He was beginning his new MOS with the Marines and he had not received his orders for his shift. I changed the drop off again, from Thursday to Friday when he mentioned that Thursdays he had specific duties and would not be able to leave the base to get his car. It was complicated because for obvious reasons, the delivery truck can't simply drive onto the US Military base. So, my son asked if they could drop the car off at a nearby Target close to the base and provided the address and a date and time that he would be allowed to leave the base. Ship A Car worked with me through all of these logistics. They picked up the car when they agreed and dropped it off as agreed, in perfect condition. My Son, thought this was a better deal than buying a new car at this point. My understanding is that the Marines on the base need some form of transportation. And although my son needed a car, he didn't feel he needed to purchase a brand new car at this time. I can't say enough about the wonderful and patient customer service for Ship A Car. Sam Ladin, the main customer service agent with whom I spoke most frequently, was so awesome! He even called me one evening - after I sent an email changing the drop off logistics - yet again - from his cell phone. He was home having dinner and stopped to deal with my issues! The drivers, Jesus and Saul were extremely professional and courteous as well! I give this company an A+!!!! My son called me and asked me for the contact details of Ship A Car because one of his Marine mates said he would like to do the same thing--ship his car from his home base; also in IL -- to California. We recently had to get our car back to NH from PA when our son was in an accident had had to be transferred by ambulance. It was an extremely stressful time for us and Ship a Car was very helpful in making the arrangements. These guys were able to help transport our vehicle within a 8 day span. They are fast, and Joseph provides great communication throughout the whole process. We are a used car dealership so obviously the treatment of our vehicle during transport was a big factor, yet the driver did not leave a single scratch on the vehicle that the Auto Auction had not previously done a report on. We shipped a 2000 Camry from VA to NE. The only drawback was that it took 2 1/2 weeks to get a carrier. The pick up and delivery was flawless and the car was in the same excellent condition on delivery as on pick up. We received excellent service from our agent, Lawrence Knapp. We have no reservations recommending this company.
